Here’s how people and planet influence our business GPS system.
We craft durable, long-lasting gear that
stays out of the landfill, using eco-friendly
materials and up-cycling whenever possible.
The outdoors has given us so much. To return
the favor, we donate both products and
profits to causes close to heart.
We actively seek to reduce our carbon
footprint and educate our community
members how to do the same.

When the rare defective mattress is returned to us, we pass those mattresses along to upcyclers like Bend, Oregon-based Tailgate Industries, who then fashions our fabrics into new camping gear.
Thanks to our new BuyBack Program, Luno customers can exchange used mattresses that are in like-new/good condition for store credit. In turn, we ensure mattresses are functioning before re-selling them as pre-owned gear. By connecting old gear with new campers, we extend the lifecycle of Luno Air Mattresses.
Through the Luno Car(e) Camping Program, we commit to donating 3% of
profits each year to support environmental and diversity, equity, and
inclusivity (DEI) causes. That 3% breaks down as follows:
Hate carbon emissions as much as you love road-tripping? Same. Our new Carbon Credits tool helps vanlifers, car campers, and truck campers offset emissions from road trips in a matter of seconds.
The exact carbon emissions of each online order depend on a number of variables, among them shipping method, shipping distance, manufacturing processes, materials, etc. That’s why we use EcoCart. This groundbreaking tool uses a proprietary algorithm that takes both production and distribution variables into account, calculates the real-time carbon emissions for each order, and gives customers the opportunity to neutralize those emissions upon checkout.
For many outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those who grew up camping, spending
time in nature is second nature. We seek to make the outdoors a more accessible
and welcoming space by sharing informative, helpful, and free educational content.
Join us on our ongoing quest for the betterment of people and planet
by pledging to follow the Camper’s Code.
I pledge to minimize my impact on both campground and campers to come by leaving my site better than I found it, respecting natural resources, and properly disposing of all trash.
I pledge to reduce my carbon impact by supporting land restoration and conservation efforts, using eco-friendly products (such as reusable water bottles), and recycling whenever possible.
I pledge to respect local wildlife and their habitats by keeping a safe distance, staying on trail, not feeding wildlife, and not damaging their home with my vehicle or hiking boots.
I pledge to support local communities whenever possible by shopping locally and finding ways to give back, as community members are often stewards of the land we enjoy.
I pledge to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by welcoming all people of different backgrounds, cultures, and identities to the great outdoors.
I pledge to bring coffee and snacks so my adventure buddies don’t have to deal with my caffeine-deprived and hangry self.
I pledge to educate myself about the local history, culture, and traditions of the places I visit, and to show respect for them.
I pledge to encourage others to follow these social and environmental initiatives and inspire them to adopt ethical & sustainable practices while car camping.
